How to use Pro-Sil
Initiation of Treatment with Pro-Sil™ Silicone Balm
To achieve optimal scar healing, Pro-Sil™ silicone balm should be introduced three weeks after surgery, once the scar, flap repair, or skin graft has fully healed. Dr Starr will provide personalised scar therapy advice, ensuring the best approach to suit each patient’s unique healing needs.
Application Guidelines
- Apply twice daily – Once in the morning and once at night
- Apply a small amount – Gently apply directly to the scar
- Allow it to dry completely – Ensure the balm is dry before applying makeup or sunscreen
